A one-truck dumpster company that clears $6,000 a month in profit and pays $199 for software is handing over 3.3% of what it keeps before fuel goes up. The same $199 is a rounding error for a company with twelve trucks. Published monthly prices for dumpster software run from $99 to about $300 a month among the vendors that print one, and several charge per driver or per truck on top. That is $1,188 to roughly $3,600 a year before a second login. ## The first afternoon

Signing up is a name, an email and a password, under a minute, no card. The welcome tour opens on the dashboard and a setup checklist appears: add your dumpster sizes and prices, add your first truck, invite your first driver, share your booking site, create your first order. If you already have cans out, the checklist has "Already have rentals out? Import your spreadsheet": paste the rows, headers included, the page validates line by line, and the active rentals land on the board as rentals waiting pickup, unpaid, with nothing billed automatically. Up to 200 rows per batch.

Stripe can wait. Cash and check orders, invoices, dispatch, the driver app and the finances all work without it. Connect it the day you want a customer to pay by card online or by payment link, which for many one-truck companies is week two, after the routine is in place.

## What you use at each size

### One truck: the cab is the office

On a phone, Dispatch is an overview with three counters, No driver, Assigned and Late, and one-tap assigning. Tresha, the built-in assistant, creates a complete delivery order by chat or voice: customer, size from your inventory, price with your defaults, dates, address, driver notes and payment choice, then a confirmation card; nothing is created until you tap Confirm. The same person is the office user and the driver, marked Also a Driver, and runs the stop from the app: On My Way, I've Arrived, a stamped photo, slide to complete.

### Two to five trucks: the first hire gets a login for free

The first driver you invite gets a branded email, and a text if a phone is on file, with a Set Your Password button and links to the App Store and Google Play. The Dispatch board grows one lane per driver, drag a card into a lane and the phone buzzes. Three office roles, Admin, Supervisor and Dispatcher, cover the person who answers the phone while you drive. None of it changes the price, which is the part most small companies check twice.
