# Service agreements

Write your service agreement once, send it to commercial customers for e-signature and always know who signed which version.

The service agreement is the contract your commercial, contractor and broker customers sign before you work on account with them. You write it once in Account Center, send it from the customer drawer, and the customer reviews and signs it online on a phone or computer. The signed PDF, with a signature certificate, lands in the customer's Account documents.

Every company starts with its Online Booking agreement as version 1, so you can send it on day one. You can keep more than one agreement (one main agreement, others for Commercial, Contractors, Brokers or one specific customer), add structured terms like length, renewal, notice to cancel, price lock and extra fees, and give one customer custom terms without touching the others.

The card on the customer's Overview tab shows where each agreement stands: sent, opened, signed, link expired or needs update. When the agreement changes after a customer signed, the customer sees exactly what changed before signing again. Service agreements are included on every plan, free plan included.

## Frequently asked questions

### Who can send a service agreement?

Anyone in the office (owner, admin, supervisor or dispatcher) can send, remind and copy the link. Only an owner or admin can write or change the company's agreements.

### Which customers can receive it?

Commercial, Contractor and Broker customers. Residential customers book online and accept the Online Booking agreement at checkout instead.

### Is the e-signature legally valid?

The customer agrees to sign electronically, types or draws a signature, and the signed PDF gets a signature certificate with who signed, when, the IP address and the device. The agreement text is yours: have it reviewed by your lawyer.

### Does the customer need an account?

No. They open the link from the email or text message, review and sign. The link works for 30 days.

### What happens to customers who already signed when I change the agreement?

They keep the version they signed on file and show "Needs update". You decide when to send the update; nothing is sent by itself.
