# How to update your company profile in Dumpster Controls

The "Company Profile" tab holds the business identity your customers see: "Your company details are shown on invoices, quotes, and your Marketplace profile."

## Before you start

- An account with access to the Account Center's Company tab.

1. ## Open the Company tab
In the Account Center, click "Company". New accounts see a "Complete your company profile" checklist at the top tracking three basics: "Company name", "Phone number", and "Business address", with a running count of how many are done.
2. ## Upload your logo
Click the "Company Logo" box and pick an image. The hint spells out the rules: "PNG, JPG. Max 2MB. Used on invoices and Marketplace." Use "Remove logo" to clear it.
3. ## Fill in the identity fields
Edit "Company Name", "DBA Name" (Optional), "Company Phone", "Website" (Optional), and "EIN / Tax ID" (Optional). "Company Email" is read-only.
4. ## Set the address
Type into "Billing Address" and pick from the autocomplete suggestions; "City", "State", and "Zip Code" fill in automatically. You can also edit those three fields by hand.
5. ## Pick the company timezone
Choose from Eastern (ET), Central (CT), Mountain (MT), Pacific (PT), Alaska (AKT), or Hawaii (HT). This is the timezone your operation runs on.
6. ## Choose whether to feature your company on our website
Turn on "Feature my company on the Dumpster Controls website" to show your company name, logo, city and a link to your website in the "Companies that run on Dumpster Controls" section of the dumpstercontrols.io home page. Nothing else is shared (no orders, customers or revenue). It is off by default. The website is updated once a month, so turning it on or off takes effect on the next update.
7. ## Fill in "Remit to" if you bill on account
At the bottom of the tab, the "Remit to (commercial accounts)" card holds where account customers mail checks or send transfers: "Remit to name" (required before closing any statement), "Beneficiary name", "Remit to address", "Bank", "Routing number", "Account number" and "Wire or ACH instructions". It prints on every statement and has its own button, "Save remit to".
8. ## Save
Click "Save Company". A toast confirms "Company updated" with "Your company information has been saved."

## What happens next

- Your logo and details flow onto invoices, quotes, and your Marketplace profile automatically.
- The company address doubles as your HQ for dispatch routes, so keeping it accurate matters beyond paperwork.

## Troubleshooting

### The address autocomplete shows no suggestions.

Type at least a few characters of the street address. You can always fill "Billing Address", "City", "State", and "Zip Code" manually.

## Frequently asked questions

### Is Dumpster Controls really free?

Yes. The software is free: dispatch, online booking, the driver app, invoicing, the Tresha AI assistant and every other feature, with no monthly fee, no trial period and no credit card to sign up. The only cost on the free plan is optional card processing when a customer pays by card through the platform: 2.99% plus $3.99 per transaction on the free plan. An optional Unlimited plan at $169 per month lowers that to 2.99% plus $0.30. Prices as published on dumpstercontrols.io/pricing on 2026-09-23.

### Do you charge per driver, per truck or per order?

No. There is no per-driver, per-truck, per-user or per-order fee, and no order limit. A company with one truck and a company with twenty pay the same for the software: nothing.

### Is there a contract?

No. There is no contract, no minimum term and no setup fee. You create the account yourself, and on the free plan there is nothing to cancel because nothing is billed. The optional Unlimited plan is billed month to month.

### Which countries and languages are supported?

Dumpster Controls serves hauling companies in the United States and Canada. The app interface and the Tresha AI assistant are available in English, Spanish and Portuguese. The public pages, such as the blog, the help center and the landfill finder, are in English.

### How do I switch from another dumpster software?

Create a free account at dumpstercontrols.io/login, with no sales call and no credit card. Then import your customers from a CSV file using the template provided in the app; past orders can also be imported from a CSV. Container sizes and pricing are set up in Settings. The landfill database, with 1,750 active US and Canadian landfills as counted on 2026-10-01, is already loaded, so disposal sites do not need to be typed in. Step-by-step guides are at dumpstercontrols.io/help.
