The booking page creates the customer, the order adds to their history, the payment updates their lifetime value, the driver's photo lands on their order, and the review request goes out from the same record. 370+ hauling companies keep their customers in it today (counted 2026-09-23, test accounts excluded), on the free plan. ## The Customers page, read in one look Four cards at the top: Total Customers, Active Rentals, Revenue This Month and Contractors. Below them the list, with Name and email, Type, Company, Phone, Lifetime Value, Orders and Status. The type icon is a house for residential, a hard hat for contractor and a building for broker. The arrow on a row expands the customer's orders and, when they have several unpaid invoices, offers to consolidate them into one payment; clicking the row opens the customer drawer with the profile, the orders, the invoices and the estimates. An Estimates button between the header and the cards shows how many quotes are open. Search, filter and sort work on every column. ## Three kinds of customer, three sets of fields The profile type is chosen when the customer is created and cannot be changed later, because each type stores different things. Full Name and Street Address are required, with Google filling in city, state or province and postal code for US and Canadian addresses; Email and Phone are optional but they are what make invoice email, SMS and review requests possible later. *What each customer type stores in Dumpster Controls. The booking page has a chat bubble; the visitor enters a name and email and starts typing, the conversation lands in your Messages inbox, and your reply shows live on their screen. You keep the name and email even if they never finish the booking. The second door is the public API: POST /v1/leads takes a name and, optionally, phone, email, address, size and a note, from your website form, a GoHighLevel funnel or an ad landing page, and the lead appears in the Customers screen under Leads to be converted with one click. A duplicate pushed within ten minutes returns the existing lead instead of a second one. The free plan allows 200 leads a day. The Free Forever Promise ### Free means free. Forever. Transactional notifications are controlled per customer: a contractor with nine cans on three sites can have the status texts switched off while invoices, receipts and payment links keep arriving. Estimates are managed from the same page. A customer with several unpaid invoices gets one consolidated Super Invoice with a single payment link, and you decide whether the company absorbs the card fee.
