    Acceptable Use Policy

    1. Purpose

    This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the permitted and prohibited uses of the Dumpster Controls platform ("Service"). This policy exists to protect the integrity of the Service, ensure fair use for all users, and maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations. By using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP.

    2. Permitted Use

    The Service is intended exclusively for the management of dumpster rental, roll off container, bin rental, and waste hauling business operations. Permitted uses include:

    • Managing dumpster rental orders, dispatch, and scheduling
    • Creating and sending invoices to customers
    • Tracking inventory, trucks, drivers, and operational assets
    • Participating in the Dumpster Network Hub marketplace
    • Using AI features for operational insights and customer support
    • Creating online booking pages and customer-facing websites
    • Processing payments through integrated payment systems
    • Generating financial reports and business analytics

    3. Prohibited Conduct

    You agree not to use the Service to:

    • Illegal Activity: Engage in or facilitate any activity that violates local, state, national, or international law, including environmental regulations, waste disposal laws, and transportation regulations.
    • Fraud: Submit false information, create fictitious orders, manipulate pricing or financial data, or engage in any form of fraud or deception.
    • Unauthorized Access: Attempt to access other users' accounts, data, or systems without authorization. Use automated tools to scrape, mine, or extract data from the Service.
    • Platform Abuse: Deliberately create excessive load on the Service, exploit bugs or vulnerabilities, or interfere with the normal operation of the platform.
    • Marketplace Manipulation: Create fake listings, engage in shill bidding, collude with other users to manipulate Hub pricing, or misrepresent your capabilities or credentials on the marketplace.
    • Harmful Content: Upload malware, viruses, or other harmful code. Transmit spam, phishing messages, or unsolicited commercial communications through the Service.
    • Intellectual Property Violation: Upload or distribute content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
    • Impersonation: Misrepresent your identity, company affiliation, or authority to act on behalf of another entity.
    • Data Harvesting: Collect, aggregate, or export other users' business data, customer information, or pricing data for competitive purposes.
    • Circumventing Controls: Attempt to bypass security measures, rate limits, usage restrictions, or payment obligations.

    4. Resource Usage

    To ensure fair access for all users, the following resource usage guidelines apply:

    • API rate limits must be respected. Excessive automated requests may be throttled or blocked.
    • File uploads are subject to size and format restrictions as specified in the Service documentation.
    • Bulk data operations (imports, exports) should be performed during off-peak hours when possible.
    • Storage usage must be reasonable and related to legitimate business operations.

    5. AI Usage Guidelines

    When using Tresha AI or other AI-powered features within the Service:

    • Do not attempt to manipulate AI responses through prompt injection or adversarial inputs.
    • Do not use AI features to generate fraudulent documents, fake reviews, or misleading content.
    • AI-generated insights and recommendations are provided for informational purposes and should not replace professional judgment in safety-critical decisions.
    • Do not use AI features to process or generate content that violates applicable laws or this AUP.

    6. Enforcement

    Violations of this AUP may result in:

    • Warning: A written notice to cease the prohibited activity.
    • Temporary Suspension: Temporary restriction of access to the Service while the violation is investigated.
    • Permanent Termination: Permanent removal from the platform for severe or repeated violations.
    • Legal Action: Referral to law enforcement or pursuit of legal remedies for violations that cause harm or involve illegal activity.

    We reserve the right to determine, in our sole discretion, whether a violation of this AUP has occurred and what enforcement action is appropriate. No refunds will be issued for accounts suspended or terminated due to AUP violations.

    7. Reporting Violations

    If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to abuse@dumpstercontrols.io. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
