Confirm changes Claude proposes

Claude can complete dispatch steps, assign drivers, edit orders, send invoices and save customers, always in two steps: a proposal first, then your confirmation.

Before you start

## Ask for the change
Say what you want, for example: The pickup for order 1042 is done, mark it complete; Assign tomorrow's delivery for order 1042 to Mike; Move the pickup of order 1042 to Friday; Resend the invoice for order 1042 by email; or Add a new customer, Green Roofing LLC.
## Read the proposal
Claude shows what would change (before and after), who would be notified (the customer, the driver) and any other effect. Nothing has changed yet. If more than one task or customer matches, Claude lists them so you can pick the right one.
## Confirm in the chat
Reply that you confirm. Claude may also show its own permission prompt before the confirm step; allow it. The change is applied exactly like the same action in the app, with the same notifications and history.
## Mind the 10 minutes
A proposal expires 10 minutes after it is created. After that, ask Claude to propose again. Confirming the same proposal twice never runs it twice.

What happens next

Completing a delivery, pickup or landfill run notifies the customer and queues the payout, like the app. Landfill runs ask for the net weight and the cost.
Assigning a driver sends that driver a push notification and an SMS. Sending an invoice emails or texts the customer on file. Editing an order or a customer notifies nobody.
Order edits never change the price. Changing the size before delivery keeps the total as it is.

Troubleshooting

Claude says the order changed meanwhile.

Someone edited the order in the app after the proposal. Ask Claude to propose again so you confirm the current values.

Claude refuses a state, city or ZIP.

States must be a two-letter code or the full name (Florida becomes FL), ZIP codes must be a US ZIP or a Canadian postal code, and the city must not include the state or ZIP.

Is Dumpster Controls really free?

Yes. The software is free: dispatch, online booking, the driver app, invoicing, the Tresha AI assistant and every other feature, with no monthly fee, no trial period and no credit card to sign up. The only cost is optional card processing when a customer pays by card through the platform: 2.99% plus $3.99 per transaction on the free plan. Do you charge per driver, per truck or per order?

No. There is no per-driver, per-truck, per-user or per-order fee, and no order limit. A company with one truck and a company with twenty pay the same for the software: nothing.

Is there a contract?

No. There is no contract, no minimum term and no setup fee. You create the account yourself, and on the free plan there is nothing to cancel because nothing is billed. The optional Unlimited plan is billed month to month.

Which countries and languages are supported?

Dumpster Controls serves hauling companies in the United States and Canada. The app interface and the Tresha AI assistant are available in English, Spanish and Portuguese. The public pages, such as the blog, the help center and the landfill finder, are in English.

How do I switch from another dumpster software?

Create a free account at dumpstercontrols.io/login, with no sales call and no credit card. Then import your customers from a CSV file using the template provided in the app; past orders can also be imported from a CSV. Container sizes and pricing are set up in Settings. The landfill database, with 2,916 active US landfills as counted on 2026-09-23, is already loaded, so disposal sites do not need to be typed in. Step-by-step guides are at dumpstercontrols.io/help.
