    Developer API

A public REST API and signed webhooks to connect Dumpster Controls with your CRM, website, funnels and automation tools. Approval-gated, included free.

The Dumpster Controls API turns the platform into something your other software can talk to. Read your orders, customers, estimates, dumpster sizes and junk removal jobs as JSON; push leads in from GoHighLevel funnels and website forms; and receive signed webhooks the moment an order is created, changes status, or gets paid.

Access is approval-based: you request it in Settings, API, with your use case, and the Dumpster Controls team approves or declines it quickly. Keys are shown once, stored only as fingerprints, revocable at any time, and always scoped to your own company. The free plan includes 10 minutes of API time per day plus 200 leads per day; paid plans are unlimited. All plans allow 60 requests per minute per key.

Money is excluded by design: the API cannot refund, charge or change prices. Payments keep flowing through the platform itself, with its built-in card processing and fraud screening, and your integration hears about them through the payment.received webhook.

    Frequently asked questions

    Is the API free?

Yes. It ships on every plan. The free plan has a 10-minute daily window and a 200 leads/day quota; paid plans are unlimited. There is no separate API fee.

Why do I need approval for a key?

Dumpster Controls is free software, and an ungated API on a free platform attracts abuse. Human approval keeps the API fast and safe for everyone, and gives our team a chance to help you plan the integration. Requests are reviewed quickly.

Can I build a customer-facing app on this API?

You can build anything that acts on behalf of YOUR company: dashboards, CRM syncs, lead routers, reports. The key must stay server-side, and each company uses its own key for its own data.

    Does any competitor offer this?

As of August 2026, we found no other major dumpster rental platform (Docket, DRS, iCANS) with a public, documented, openly requestable API. If that changes, this answer will be updated.
