How to check alerts from the bell in Dumpster Controls

The bell in the header carries your operational alerts to every page of the app, so you never need to go back to the Dashboard to know something broke.

    1. 1

      Read the badge

The bell shows a numbered badge with the total alert count. The badge pulses red when at least one urgent (red) alert exists, and shows amber when only warnings remain.

    2. 2

      Open the panel

Click the bell. The "Alerts" panel lists every alert with the same colors and text as the Dashboard card, plus an "active" counter in the header.

    3. 3

      Jump to the fix

Click any alert to navigate to the screen where you resolve it: Dispatch for late work, Drivers for licenses, Order History for overdue invoices, and so on.

    What happens next

    • With nothing wrong, the panel shows "All clear!" and "No operational alerts right now."

    Troubleshooting

The count seems stale after I fixed something.

Alerts refresh on a 60-second cycle. Give it a minute, or reload the page to force a fresh check.
