Driver Day & GPS

See where each driver went, replay the route, and turn the GPS day into reports.

Driver Day turns the GPS from your drivers' phones into a readable day: every trip, every stop, and what each stop was (a customer, a landfill, headquarters, or a break). No tracking hardware is involved; the location comes from the same driver app your team already uses.

Open any driver's day on a map with a synced timeline, press play to watch the route unfold, and check the numbers in Driver Reports: miles, driving hours, stops, landfill runs, and jobs done per driver per day.

GPS fleet tracking is free, with every feature: live map, driver day replay, 90 days of location history and Driver Reports, no hardware to buy. It is on every account, free plan included, in the US and in Canada, together with CSV export, the weekly recap and the end-of-day email.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to buy GPS hardware for my trucks?

No. The position comes from the driver's phone through the Dumpster Controls driver app. There is nothing to install in the truck and no per-vehicle device fee.

What does the free plan include?

Every GPS feature, with no counter: every driver, the live map, any date in the last 90 days, replay, Driver Reports with CSV export, the weekly recap and the end-of-day email.

When does a day become final?

The day consolidates overnight. Until then it carries the note "Partial, consolidates overnight", and numbers can still move a little as late points arrive from the driver's phone.

Can drivers see that this exists?

Yes, and they should. Location is recorded during the work day through the driver app, and the office can review a driver's day for up to 90 days. Companies that use the driver check-in only record while a shift is open.
