The "Getting Started" wizard is a five-step tour that opens on your first visits and jumps you straight into each setup screen.
The tour opens with "Hey {name}! Welcome aboard." and a short note about the product. Click "Get Started" to continue. Dots at the top show the five steps: "Welcome", "Settings", "Inventory", "Orders", and "Go Online"; you can click a dot to jump.
Two shortcuts: "Company Settings" ("Your business name, address, phone, and contact info.") opens your company profile, and "Bank & Payments" ("Connect Stripe to receive online payments from customers.") opens the payouts tab. Clicking either closes the tour and navigates there.
The "Inventory" shortcut reads "Create dumpster sizes (10yd, 15yd, 20yd…) and register each unit with a serial number." A "Pro tip:" adds "Once your inventory is set up, dispatch suggestions become smarter and more accurate."
The "New Order" shortcut ("Create a dumpster rental order with customer, size, dates, and pricing.") takes you to the order form.
Two options: "Online Booking" ("Already have a website? Integrate our booking widget and start renting online.") and "Get a Professional Website", where the team builds a custom site for your business and you get a formal quote with no obligation. Click "Let's Go" to finish with confetti.
Use "Skip tour" to close for now, "Back" to revisit a step, or check "Don't show again" to stop the auto-open for good.
If you finished it or checked "Don't show again", the tour and the "Setup Guide" header icon are gone for that account. Use the setup checklist on the dashboard instead; it covers the same ground with live progress.
