    How to set up the rental agreement for online booking in Dumpster Controls

    Every online order requires the customer to accept a rental agreement before paying. You can use the standard Dumpster Controls agreement or write your own.

    Before you start

    • Access to the Booking Page section

      Open the Rental Agreement tab

      In "Booking Page", select "Rental Agreement". The card is titled "Rental Agreement and Terms" ("This agreement appears before checkout confirmation.").

      Choose Standard or Custom

      Use the "Agreement Type" switch to pick "Standard" ("Using the standard Dumpster Controls agreement", shown in the "Standard Agreement Preview") or "Custom" ("Using your custom agreement"), which opens a text editor.

      Save

      For a custom agreement, paste or write your terms and click "Save Agreement". The note reminds you: "Customers must accept this agreement before completing their order."

    What happens next

    • At checkout, customers must tick "I agree to the" "Terms & Conditions and Rental Agreement" before the payment button activates. Clicking the link opens the agreement text in a small overlay.
    • Below the checkbox, customers see: "By placing this order, you agree to the Rental Agreement. Extra charges may apply for overweight fees or dumpster damage."

    Troubleshooting

    My custom agreement is not showing.

    Confirm the switch is set to "Custom" and the text was saved. If the custom text is empty, the standard agreement is used.
