How to update your personal profile in Dumpster Controls

The "My Profile" tab manages your personal information and preferences: name, photo, phone, job title, timezone, and language.

1. Open the Profile tab

   In the Account Center, click "Profile". The header reads "My Profile" with the subtitle "Manage your personal information and preferences." Your photo, name, and role badge sit at the top.

2. Change your photo

   Click the camera button on your avatar and pick an image. JPG, PNG, or WebP up to 2MB. A confirmation shows "Photo updated" when it is saved.

3. Fill in your details

   Edit "Full Name", "Phone" (formatted automatically as a US number), and "Job Title" (placeholder "e.g. Owner, Manager"). The "Email" field is read-only: "Email is used as your login and cannot be changed here."

4. Set timezone and language

   Pick your "Timezone" (Eastern, Central, Mountain, or Pacific) and your "Language". The language helper explains: "This changes the language across your entire account." Language applies instantly, and a toast confirms "Language updated".

5. Save

   Click "Save Changes". A toast confirms "Profile updated" with "Your profile changes have been saved."

What happens next

• Your preferred language is also used for notifications the platform sends you.
• The "Change Password" button on this tab jumps straight to the Security tab.

Troubleshooting

My photo upload fails with "File too large".

The maximum file size is 2MB. Resize or compress the image and try again.

I need to change my login email.

Email cannot be changed from this screen because it is your login. Open a ticket in the "Support Center" tab and the team will help.
