How to create, dispatch, reschedule and invoice an order with Tresha

Tell Tresha to create an order and she collects everything a real order needs, customer, size, dates, address, driver notes and payment, prices it from your price list and shows a confirmation card. Then, in the same chat, she assigns the driver, moves the dates and sends the invoice or payment link. Nothing changes until you tap the button on each card. Built for someone talking while driving.

## Start the flow
Tap the Create an order shortcut above the chat, or just say it: create an order for John, nova ordem para o John, crear una orden. You can give everything in one sentence (Tresha understands a full request) or answer step by step.
## Pick the customer fast
Say any fragment of the name. Tresha answers with up to 5 NUMBERED matches so you can reply with just a number, even driving. One match, she confirms and moves on. No match, she offers to quick-create the customer with name and phone, and the delivery address becomes their address on file.
## Size and dates, priced from your price list
Sizes come numbered from your Inventory. Tresha prices the order on the server from your price list: the size price, or the negotiated rate of an account customer, with your tax and fuel surcharge rules, so you are never asked for a price, tax or surcharge. She also checks that a unit of that size is available, the same check as the New Order screen. Then she asks for the delivery date, pickup date and invoice due date. Typical order: three or four quick answers total.
## Address, driver notes and payment
If the customer has an address on file, Tresha offers it first: deliver to the usual 123 Main St? Driver notes are optional (gate code, placement side). For payment she offers a payment link ONLY when your Stripe is connected, plus invoice to pay later or no charge now. Card numbers are never accepted in chat; if someone dictates one, Tresha refuses and the digits are masked before anything is stored.
## The confirmation card
Tresha shows the complete summary under "Create this order?": customer, size, price breakdown with where the price came from (your price list or the customer's negotiated rate), units available for that size, total, dates, address, notes and payment. The order is created ONLY when you tap Create order on that card. It lands like any order created on the New Order screen: on the dispatch board with a delivery task, with its invoice ready, visible in Order History, and it flows to your QuickBooks if connected. For a discount, create the order and then use Adjust price in Order History.
## Assign or reassign the driver
Say "give the delivery of order 1042 to Mike" or "move tomorrow's pickup at Smith to Carlos". Tresha finds the open stop and the driver by name and shows the card "Assign this stop?" with the stop, the current driver and the new one. Tap Assign driver: the new driver gets the same push notification and text as when you assign on the dispatch board.
## Change the delivery or pickup date
Say "move the pickup of order 1042 to Friday" or "deliver order 1042 on the 20th instead". The card "Change the dates?" shows each date from and to, and the driver on the stop. Tap Change dates: the open stops move to the new day on the dispatch board, exactly like editing the dates in the app.
## Send the invoice or the payment link
Say "send the invoice for order 1042", or "text it to the customer". The card "Send this invoice?" shows the invoice number, the total, the customer's email and phone on file (masked) and whether it goes with the payment link. Tap Send now: it goes out the same way as the Send Payment Link button, with the payment link when your Stripe account is approved, and the customer gets the app's automatic reminders for 5 days while it stays unpaid.
## Who can do what
Creating orders, assigning drivers, changing dates and sending invoices are for owners, admins, supervisors and dispatchers. Drivers use Tresha for their own stops and to complete deliveries, pickups and landfill runs.
## Safety, in plain words
Everything runs under YOUR login and permissions, never a bot account. Each card expires in 10 minutes, double-taps cannot run an action twice, and every action is audit-logged. If the order, the invoice or the price list changed after the card was made, nothing runs and Tresha asks you to request a fresh card.

Frequently asked questions

Is Dumpster Controls really free?

Yes. The entire app is free for any company at any fleet size: dispatch, online booking, the driver app, invoicing, the Tresha AI assistant and every other feature, with no monthly fee, no trial period and no credit card to sign up. The only cost on the free plan is optional card processing when a customer pays by card through the platform: 2.99% plus $3.99 per transaction on the free plan. The entire app is free; an optional $169 per month plan lowers that to 2.99% plus $0.30 and adds a Sponsored spotlight in the public company directory. Do you charge per driver, per truck or per order?

No. There is no per-driver, per-truck, per-user or per-order fee, and no order limit. A company with one truck and a company with twenty pay the same for the software: nothing.

Is there a contract?

No. There is no contract, no minimum term and no setup fee. You create the account yourself, and on the free plan there is nothing to cancel because nothing is billed. The optional $169 lower card rate plan is billed month to month.

Which countries and languages are supported?

Dumpster Controls serves hauling companies in the United States and Canada. The app interface and the Tresha AI assistant are available in English, Spanish and Portuguese. The public pages, such as the blog, the help center and the landfill finder, are in English.

How do I switch from another dumpster software?

Create a free account at dumpstercontrols.io/login, with no sales call and no credit card. Then import your customers from a CSV file using the template provided in the app; past orders can also be imported from a CSV. Container sizes and pricing are set up in Settings. The landfill database, with 1,750 active US and Canadian landfills as counted on 2026-10-01, is already loaded, so disposal sites do not need to be typed in.
