Customer portal
Give your commercial customers their own login to see every order and statement, request dumpsters and pay, under your company's name.
The customer portal is a login for the people at your commercial customers: the owner or project manager, accounts payable and the site supervisors. It lives at dumpstercontrols.io/portal/your-booking-address and shows your company name, logo and color, not ours.
In the portal they see every order on their account with its timeline and photos, their statements and invoices with View & pay, their job sites, their signed service agreement and account documents. They request a dumpster with their negotiated prices and the order lands in Waiting delivery right away, like an online booking, with a PORTAL badge. Pickups, swaps, extensions and new job sites arrive as requests you confirm.
Access is never automatic: you give it from the customer form or the customer card, and you can remove it at any time. The portal is for customers on account (any type except Broker) and for Commercial customers who pay per order, who can view and pay but not order. It is included on every plan, free plan included.

Frequently asked questions
Who can give portal access?
Anyone in the office (owner, admin, supervisor or dispatcher). The customer's own account admin can also invite colleagues from the Team page of the portal.
Can a customer see other customers or my company's data?
No. A portal login is a different kind of login: it never enters your company app and only reads its own account, checked by the database on every request. A supervisor limited to some job sites only sees orders at those sites.
Do portal orders need my approval?
No. They enter Waiting delivery right away, like an online booking. If you can't take one, open the order and use Decline order with a reason; the customer and the person who ordered get an email with your reason.
Can the customer pay by card?
View & pay opens the statement page you already send by email. It offers card or bank payment when the account's payment preference allows it, and always shows your Remit to address for checks and wires.
Can the same person use portals of two dumpster companies?
Yes, with the same email and password. Each company has its own portal address, and the person only sees the accounts that company gave them.
Can I use a staff email for a portal login?
No. An email that signs in to a company account (office, driver or vendor) can't be a portal login, and a portal login can't become staff. Use a different email.
