How to navigate with the sidebar in Dumpster Controls

The sidebar is the app's main navigation, grouped by what you do daily, weekly, and rarely. Two permanent shortcuts sit at the bottom.

1. Daily operations group

   "Dashboard", "Operations", "Dispatch", and "Order History". On mobile this group also shows "Operational Map", a full-screen live map that uses your device location.

2. Business group

   "Finances", "Customers", "Messages", and "Fleet Upgrades" (the equipment store). A red dot appears on "Messages" when you have unread conversations, and a dot appears on "Customers" when a customer accepted an estimate you have not acknowledged yet.

3. Assets group

   "Inventory" (dumpster sizes and units), "Trucks", and "Drivers".

4. Growth group

   "Booking Page" (your online booking settings) and "Get a Website".

5. Administration

   "Admin User" opens team and role management.

6. Use the bottom shortcuts

   "Create New Order" (subtitle: "Delivery, Invoice or Estimate") starts a new order from anywhere. Below it, the "Dumpster HUB" card (subtitle: "Marketplace") opens the marketplace.

What happens next

• The current page is highlighted in the sidebar.
• On phones and small screens the sidebar collapses; open it with the menu button at the left of the header, and it closes itself after you pick a destination.

Troubleshooting

I do not see "Operational Map" on my computer.

That item is mobile-only because the full-screen map relies on device geolocation. On desktop, use the "Active Locations" map on the Dashboard instead.
