How to complete a task from Dispatch in Dumpster Controls

Drivers normally complete stops from their app, but dispatchers can confirm a task from the board when the driver forgot or has no phone signal.

    1. 1

      Open the task

Click the card to open the details drawer. Completable tasks show a highlighted "Confirm this task" box at the top.

    2. 2

      Slide to complete

Drag the "Slide to complete" control all the way to the right. The slide is deliberate so a stray click cannot complete a stop. (If the slide control is disabled on your device, a green "Complete" button appears under "Task Actions" instead.)

    3. 3

      Watch the confirmation

A toast confirms "Task completed, removed from active board" and the drawer closes.

    What happens next

    • The card shows "COMPLETED" with the finish timestamp and no longer counts against the driver's remaining stops.
    • Completing a pickup makes its landfill run real: the "NEXT" preview under it becomes an assignable landfill task.
    • The completion is stamped in the audit log with who confirmed it.

    Troubleshooting

There is no slide or "Complete" control.

Only tasks in "Assigned" or "In Progress" status can be completed. Pending pool tasks need a driver first.
