How to find your way around the Driver App in Dumpster Controls

Four bottom tabs and one menu cover everything. Learn where each piece of your day lives.

    1. 1

      Use the bottom tabs

"My Tasks" is your day list, "Map" draws it on Google Maps, "Messages" is chat with the office and teammates, and "Profile" holds your personal info.

    2. 2

      Open the menu

Tap the menu button in the top-left corner. It lists "My Tasks", "Map", "Messages", "Profile", "Settings", "Ask Tresha", "Theme", and "Sign out".

    3. 3

      Pick a theme

Under "Theme" choose "Light Mode", "Dark Mode", "Match Phone" (follows your phone's light and dark setting), or "Automatic" (light until 6 PM, then dark).

    4. 4

      Switch language

Tap the globe icon in the top bar to pick your language. The whole app follows it.

    5. 5

      Ask Tresha

"Ask Tresha" in the menu opens the built-in assistant in a drawer, so you can ask questions without leaving your route.

    What happens next

    • The pill with your initials in the top-right corner is a shortcut to your profile.
    • Tapping the Dumpster Controls logo always returns you to "My Tasks".

    Troubleshooting

The app tells me to update.

When a required version ships you will see "Update Required" with "A new version of Dumpster Controls is available. Please update the app to continue." Tap "Update Now" to get it from the store.
