How to open a task and read the details in the Dumpster Controls Driver App

Tapping any card opens the task sheet, a full-screen panel where you see everything about the stop and take every action.

    1. 1

      Check the header

The sheet header shows the stop number, the task type, and a status chip: pending, assigned, in progress, "Arrived", or "Completed". Swap tasks add a "Swap" badge.

    2. 2

      Read the destination card

The address card shows the street address (tap to copy), the date and time window, and an "Open Map" button that opens the destination in Google Maps for turn-by-turn navigation.

    3. 3

      Preview the site

The "Site view" card shows a satellite photo of the job site so you can plan the approach before arriving. Tap "Expand" to enlarge it.

    4. 4

      Review customer and notes

The "Customer" card has "Call" and "Text" buttons, and a "Notes" card shows instructions from dispatch when they exist.

    5. 5

      Expand "More details"

The "More details" section opens the "Order Details" card: "Order #", "Dumpster", "Debris", "Delivery" and "Pickup" dates, "Rental days", and "Placement notes". A "Timeline" lists "Started", "Arrived", and "Completed" timestamps.

    What happens next

    • The action buttons for the stop ("On My Way", "I've Arrived", "Slide to complete") live pinned at the bottom of the sheet; they change with the task's status.
    • Completed tasks open in a read-only view showing "Task Completed", the completion time, and the photos taken.

    Troubleshooting

There are no action buttons on the task.

Completed tasks are read-only. Active tasks always show the next action for their status at the bottom of the sheet.
