How to run a landfill trip with receipt scan in the Dumpster Controls Driver App

Landfill runs capture real disposal data: the destination, the scale receipt, the net weight, and the cost. The receipt scan reads most of it for you.

   Pick the destination

   The "Select Landfill Destination" card lists landfills sorted by distance from you. Until you choose one, the sheet blocks the start with "Select a landfill destination before starting this task."

   Tap "On My Way"

   The address card switches to the "Selected Landfill" with its distance, and "Open Map" navigates to it.

   Photograph the scale receipt

   At the landfill, add the "Landfill Receipt" photo. Receipts are uploaded at full quality and are not stamped, so every number stays readable.

   Tap "Submit Landfill Receipt"

   This is the arrival step for landfill runs. The "Receipt scan" card shows "Scanning receipt…" and then fills in what it found, for example "Detected NET weight: 3.52 tons. Please confirm and edit if needed."

   Confirm weight and cost

   Check "Net weight (tons)" and "Receipt Total ($)". The hint reminds you: "Net weight is the landfill's NET value on the receipt, not gross, not tare." Edit anything the scan got wrong; if it fails, it says "Could not detect the NET weight automatically. Please enter it manually."

   Slide to complete

   One slide saves the receipt info and completes the run in a single gesture. Sliding with no weight entered asks "No weight entered. Complete this landfill anyway?"
