The tablet map is built for a truck that carries one container at a time. It shows the trip you are on now, tells you whether you are loaded or empty, and puts landfill runs where they actually happen.
The map draws one leg: from where the trip starts to the stop you are heading to. Both ends carry a number, so the first trip of the day is 1 and 2, the second is 3 and 4, and so on. The rest of the day stays on the map, dimmed and without numbers, so you can see where the work is without losing the leg you are driving.
A solid line means you are carrying a container. A dashed line means you are running empty. Tap the small legend chip to see both in words. The app works this out from the order of your stops, so it stays correct even when the day changes.
The day starts at the yard, because that is where the truck sleeps. If a full container stayed at the yard overnight, the trip to the landfill also starts there, and the stop card says so: the container is not at the customer any more.
A landfill run is drawn at the landfill you chose, with its star rating, not at the customer address the task was created from. Tap it to see the address, the rating and the details, and to rate it after you dump.
When the stop is done, the line disappears and the next trip is drawn, with the next pair of numbers. There is never more than one trip on screen.
No landfill has been chosen for it yet, so there is nowhere to draw. The banner at the top of the map lists it as "No landfill chosen yet", and tapping it opens the stop. Choose the landfill and the pin and the route appear immediately.
It should. Dragging a stop in the list rewrites your own order, and the map uses the same order. If it does not update, pull to refresh; if the day was reordered by the office at the same moment, the most recent change wins and a banner tells you dispatch updated your route.
The yard is the company address. If your company has no address saved, the trip starts from the truck's current position instead. Add the address in company settings to get the yard as the starting point.
