How to handle a landfill run from the tablet

Every pickup ends in a dump run. The tablet asks for the landfill early, routes you to it, and reads the ticket off a photo so the cost lands on the order without typing.

Before you start

  1. Choose the landfill early

Open the pickup and use "Set landfill". Choosing early is what lets the map draw the trip and put the stop in the right order, and the choice is saved on the order, so the office and your teammates see it too. The list is sorted with the closest facilities first and shows community star ratings.

  2. Drive the trip

After the pickup completes, the landfill stop appears with the landfill as its destination. If the container spent the night at the yard, the trip starts at the yard and the card says so.

  3. Arrive and dump

Tap the stop, mark yourself on site, and dump. The on-site timer runs separately from the driving timer, so time at the scale is measured.

  4. Scan the dump ticket

Photograph the receipt and use "Receipt scan". The app reads the net weight and the cost off the photo and fills the fields, which you can correct. The cost flows into the order's profit calculation.

  5. Rate the facility

Give the landfill a star rating and an optional comment. Ratings are shared with other companies in the network, which is what makes the closest facility list actually useful.

  6. Complete the stop

Slide to complete. The receipt information is the one hard requirement on a landfill run, because it is what turns a dump into a cost on the order.

Troubleshooting

The app will not let me start the landfill stop

A landfill run needs a destination. Choose the landfill in the stop, or ask the office to set it. If the container was stored instead of dumped, use the store option and the stop routes to the storage address.

The receipt scan read the wrong number

Correct the fields by hand before completing. The scan is a shortcut, not an authority, and the numbers you leave are the ones that count.

My landfill is not in the list

Search by name, and if it is genuinely missing use the option to add it. The database is shared, so a facility you add helps every company nearby.
