How to rate and review a landfill in Dumpster Controls

Ratings are the community's radar for slow scales, surprise fees, and great crews. You can rate in one tap from the list or write a full review from the details.

    1. 1

      Quick-rate from the card

Cards you have not rated yet show an empty star row with the hint "Tap to rate". Tap a star (1 to 5) and your rating is saved instantly. The card then shows your stars labeled "your rating" next to the community average and review count.

    2. 2

      Or write a full review

Open "Details" and click "Leave a Review". Pick your stars, then optionally add text in the box "Share your experience (optional, max 500 chars)". A counter tracks your 500-character limit.

    3. 3

      Submit

Click "Submit". A toast confirms "Review submitted". Your rating and text become public to the hauler community, updating the landfill's average and count.

    What happens next

    • One rating per person per landfill: coming back later shows "You've already reviewed this landfill."
    • Drivers can also rate landfills right after a dump from the driver app.

    Troubleshooting

The stars on a "Private" landfill do not react.

Private landfills cannot be rated until the team promotes them to the public catalog.

    The "Submit" button is disabled.

A star rating is required; the text is optional. Pick at least one star.
