How to change the date range and compare periods in Finances

Every number on the Finances dashboard follows the period you pick in the header, and each KPI automatically compares itself to the equivalent previous period.

    1. 1

      Pick a preset

Use the pills at the top right: "Today", "This week", "Last week", "This month", or "Last month". The hero and every tile reload for that window, and the small period label next to "Net profit" confirms the exact dates.

    2. 2

      Or set a custom range

Click the "Custom" button with the calendar icon. Pick a start date under "From" and an end date under "To", then click "Apply". Use "Clear" to reset the pickers. The button label changes to show your chosen dates.

    3. 3

      Read the comparisons

Each tile shows a "Previous" line with the prior period's value and a colored change badge. The hero shows the profit change "vs" the previous period label. Green means the movement is good for that metric: up for Received and Invoiced, down for Unpaid and Expenses.

    What happens next

    • The Trend chart is independent of the period pills: it always shows the last 6 months.

    Troubleshooting

    The Apply button is disabled.

You need both a From and a To date, and From cannot be after To.
