Dumpster Net Hub · updated 2026-08-08
When your customer paid you in cash or check, or has not paid yet, there is no money on the platform to pay the executor. Owner funding fixes that: you prepay the executor amount by card and the listing goes live the moment the payment succeeds.
Before you start
Open "Sell on Hub" for the order and set your asking price. Because the money is not on the platform, the funding panel appears with an amber note explaining your case: either "Your customer hasn't paid yet" (you fund now and keep the customer's payment when they pay) or "Paid outside the platform" (you fund now and keep the cash you already collected). Both notes end with: "Refunded if no one takes the order."
The "You pay today" box shows one number, with the explanation "Covers the executor amount plus the standard payment processing fee. No hub fees."
Under "Payment method", choose a saved card or "Use a new card". New cards can be kept with "Save this card for future Hub funding".
First-time funders check "I have read and accept the Dumpster Hub Funding Agreement." Every funding also requires the per-order confirmation: "I confirm this order was legitimately received, that I am authorized to fund it, and that I am responsible for refunds, disputes, chargebacks and related costs."
With a saved card, click "Pay {amount} & list". With a new card, click "Continue to card", enter the card details in the secure form, and confirm the payment. Some payments may ask for an extra 3D Secure authentication step.
Check the card details and try again, or switch cards. Per the in-app manual, new companies start with limits of $500 per order and $1,000 in open exposure, which grow with a positive track record.
