How to sell an order on the Hub in Dumpster Controls

Listing an order takes under a minute: set your asking price, pick how long the listing lives, and publish. Another verified company delivers while you keep your margin.

Before you start

• Your company is Hub authorized.
• The order has not been delivered yet.
• For orders the customer paid by card on the platform: your Stripe payout setup is complete (otherwise the button tooltip reads "Complete Stripe Connect setup to sell on the Hub").

1. Start from your operations board

   In the Waiting Delivery view of your operations, click the "Sell on Hub" button on the order row (on mobile cards the button is labeled "Hub"). Junk removal jobs have the same "Sell on Hub" button on the Junk Removal page. If you are not authorized yet, the button opens the access request instead.

2. Review the order summary

   The "Sell Order to Network Hub" modal ("List this order on the marketplace for other companies") shows the order, size, delivery date, and "Original Order Value". The address shows only city, state, and ZIP with the note "Exact address hidden until accepted", and the customer name is masked.

3. Pick the waste type

   Choose from the "Waste Type" list: "Household", "Construction Debris", "Roofing", "Yard Waste", "Concrete / Heavy", or "Mixed / Dirty". Buyers filter and judge listings by this badge.

4. Set the return timer

   "Return if not accepted within" offers 6, 12, 24, or 48 hours, with the note "If the listing expires, order automatically returns to your account." Orders due today are fixed at "4 hours (max for same-day delivery)" and warn: "This order is due today. If no partner accepts it within 4 hours, the listing is canceled automatically and returns to you for action."

5. Set your asking price

   Under "Your ask", answer "How much do you want to sell it for?". A green "Your gross profit" box shows what you keep ("Gross, before the platform and card fees."). If you ask more than the order value, a warning notes you would lose money on this.

6. Confirm and publish

   Check "I confirm this order has NOT been delivered yet." and the terms agreement, then click "Publish on Hub". If the order needs owner funding (paid outside the platform or unpaid), a payment panel appears instead; see the funding article.

What happens next

• A toast confirms "Listed on Network Hub!" with "Your order is now live. Auto-returns in {hours}h if unclaimed."
• The order row now shows an "On Hub · Waiting for partner" chip with the time left, and the action button becomes "Cancel Hub Listing".
• When a company accepts, your "My Listings" tab shows the listing as "Accepted" by a "Verified Network Member". After they deliver and confirm with a photo, the money splits: the executor receives the full asking amount and you keep the rest.

Troubleshooting

The "Sell on Hub" button is disabled.

For card-paid platform orders, hover the button: "Complete Stripe Connect setup to sell on the Hub" means your payout account needs finishing first. On junk jobs paid in cash, the tooltip reads "Only Payment Link (credit card) orders can be listed on the Hub".

I see a payment panel instead of the publish button.

The customer's money is not on the platform (cash, check, or unpaid), so the listing must be owner-funded by card. Follow the "fund a Hub order" article.
