How to read the weekly summary email in Dumpster Controls

Every Monday, company owners get a short recap of the last 7 days: orders created, money collected, and online bookings, with one button back to the dashboard.

    Before you start

    • You are a company owner (the email goes to owners only).
    • Your company has at least one real order in its history.
    1. 1

      Find it in your inbox

The email arrives on Mondays from "Dumpster Controls" ([email protected]). On an active week the subject reads "Your week at {company}: {n} orders, ${amount} collected".

    2. 2

      Read the three numbers

After "Here is what moved at {company} in the last 7 days:", three tiles show "Orders" (orders created, canceled ones excluded), "Collected" (completed payments received through the app), and "Online bookings" (orders that came in through your booking site).

    3. 3

      Jump back in

The "Open my dashboard" button takes you straight to your dashboard.

    4. 4

      Quiet weeks look different

With no orders in the last 7 days, the subject becomes "A fresh week for {company}: your board is ready" and the message reads "Quiet week at {company}: no orders registered in the last 7 days. When the phone rings, your board is 2 minutes away from tracking the whole job, delivery to payment." with a "Schedule my next delivery" button.

    What happens next

    • The summary is sent at most once per week per company, and sample "DEMO-" orders are never counted.
    • If you previously unsubscribed from Dumpster Controls emails, the weekly summary honors that and stays out of your inbox.

    Troubleshooting

I did not receive the email this Monday.

Check that you are the company owner, that the company already has at least one real order, and that your email address has not unsubscribed from Dumpster Controls messages. Also look in spam for the sender [email protected].
