How to edit an order's delivery details in Dumpster Controls

Wrong address, wrong size, wrong can number, wrong dates: all fixable from the order's "Delivery Information" card without recreating anything.

    1. 1

      Open the editor

Expand the order in Order History and click "Edit" on the "Delivery Information" card. (The same fields are editable in the Operations drawers.)

    2. 2

      Fix the address

The "Address" field has autocomplete; "City", "State", and "Zip" fill in when you pick a suggestion and stay editable.

    3. 3

      Fix size and debris

"Dumpster Size" lists your active sizes. "Debris Type" offers "Household", "Construction", "Yard Waste", "Concrete / Heavy", "Roofing", and "Mixed".

    4. 4

      Rebind the "Dumpster Number"

The unit dropdown ("Select dumpster unit") shows every unit of that size, marking the bound one "(current)" and blocking units "(in use by another order)". Choosing a different unit releases the old one back to available and binds the new one to this order. This is an admin override for correcting the linked can.

    5. 5

      Adjust the dates and save

Change "Delivery Date" and "Pickup Date" if needed, then click "Save". A toast confirms "Saved" with "Delivery information updated."

    What happens next

    • Active dispatch tasks for the order sync the new unit label automatically, so the driver sees the corrected can number.
    • The changes propagate to Order History, Operations, and Dispatch immediately.

    Troubleshooting

The unit I need is disabled.

It is bound to another active order ("in use by another order"). Free it there first, or pick another unit.
