How to set dumpster placement and driver instructions in Dumpster Controls

Tell the driver exactly where the can goes before the truck leaves: typed instructions, a photo, and a satellite pin on the map.

Before you start

A delivery order being created, with the address and ZIP already filled (the map link stays disabled until both exist).

Write the instructions
Fill "Driver Instructions" with the placeholder hint "Add drop-off instructions (e.g. gate #, placement spot)."

Attach a photo
Use the "Photo" upload square ("Upload") next to the instructions to add a reference image, for example a photo of the driveway.

Pin the spot on the map
Click "Set dumpster placement on map". The collapsible "Dumpster Placement (optional)" map opens on the address; drop the pin where the dumpster should sit, then "Close". The link changes to "Edit dumpster placement on map" with a green "Saved" chip.

What happens next

The pin is saved as coordinates plus a satellite snapshot, and everything appears in the order's "Driver Delivery Guide" card in Order History and in the driver's app.
In Order History, the guide shows the notes, the coordinates, the "Placement map" image, and the instruction photo, all openable in a lightbox.

Fill the "Delivery Address" and "ZIP / Postal Code" first; the map needs them to center.
