How to turn on driver daily check-in in Dumpster Controls

A single switch on the Company tab makes drivers start and end their day with a check-in, feeding your work-hours and miles reports.

    Before you start

    • Access to the Account Center's Company tab.
    1. 1

      Find the switch

In the Account Center's "Company" tab, scroll to the "Driver daily check-in" card. Its description explains the effect: "Require drivers to check in (truck + odometer + inspection) before seeing their tasks, and to record the final odometer when ending the day. Powers the work-hours and miles reports."

    2. 2

      Toggle it on

Flip the switch to the on position.

    3. 3

      Save

Click "Save Company" so the setting takes effect for your fleet.

    What happens next

    • Drivers will be asked to pick their truck, enter the odometer, and complete an inspection before their task list opens, and to record the final odometer when ending the day.

    Troubleshooting

    I changed my mind.

Flip the switch off and click "Save Company" again. Drivers go back to seeing their tasks without a check-in.
