How to understand your plan and pricing in Dumpster Controls

The "Billing and Plan" tab lays out the whole pricing model on plan cards under the headline "The entire app is free."

## Open Billing and Plan
In the Account Center, click "Billing and Plan". The banner under "SIMPLE PRICING" explains: "Every feature is free on every plan: you only pay standard processing fees on online card payments. The optional paid plan lowers that fee and adds visibility."
## Read the Free card
The "Free" plan is "$0", "Free forever", with "The entire app, every feature", "Unlimited orders, trucks, drivers and users", "Manual, booking & HUB orders", "Full GPS fleet tracking, no hardware", "Public API: 10 minutes of API time and 200 leads a day", and "No credit card needed". Its "Full GPS fleet tracking" box lists route replay up to 128x, 90 days of GPS history per driver, stops matched to orders, landfills and the yard, Driver Reports with CSV export, and the end-of-day email and weekly recap, with the note "Included on every plan, with every feature." Its "Processing fees" box states: "2.99% + $3.99 per online card payment, in line with what other dumpster apps charge. Cash orders are always free."
## Read the paid plan card
The optional lower card rate plan, named "Unlimited" in the app and tagged "MOST POPULAR", costs "$169" "/month". It is about lower card fees and visibility, not features: "Lower card fees: 2.99% + $0.30 per payment", the "Sponsored spotlight in the public Company Directory", and two small premium extras, "Higher public API volume, with no daily window" and "Crew Pay settlements and past pay periods". The card notes "Same app as Free. This plan is about lower fees and more visibility." Its "Lowest fees available" box explains: "2.99% + $0.30 per online card payment: you only pay the Stripe price, nothing more. Save $3.69 on every single payment. 50+ orders a month? The plan pays for itself."
## Read the Enterprise card
"Enterprise" is "Custom" priced, "By quote", and recommended "For brokers, franchisors and large fleets (100+ trucks)": the same software as Free, plus "Personalized support and training", an "On-site team at your address", "24-hour support", "Custom branded apps", and "Customization for high-performance operations". Click "Contact Sales" to open the "Enterprise Inquiry" form, describe what you need (at least a short paragraph), and click "Submit Inquiry". A toast confirms "Inquiry received!" and the team typically responds within 24 hours on business days.
## Expand "How billing works"
The collapsible answers the common questions: the entire app is free on the Free plan, the paid plan saves $3.69 per online payment and adds the Sponsored spotlight, higher public API volume and Crew Pay settlements, you can switch plans anytime with immediate effect, and all plans are month-to-month with no long-term contracts.
## Check Billing Information and history
"Billing Information" lists the billing email. Below it, "Billing History" lists your subscription invoices with amount and status ("Paid", "Open", "Draft", "Void", or "Uncollectible") and links to "Download PDF" or "View on Stripe". Before any subscription it shows "No invoices yet".

What happens next

Your current plan's card is highlighted and its button reads "✓ Current Plan".

Troubleshooting

The "Submit Inquiry" button is disabled.

Is Dumpster Controls really free?

Yes. The entire app is free for any company at any fleet size: dispatch, online booking, the driver app, invoicing, the Tresha AI assistant and every other feature, with no monthly fee, no trial period and no credit card to sign up. The only cost on the free plan is optional card processing when a customer pays by card through the platform: 2.99% plus $3.99 per transaction on the free plan. The entire app is free; an optional $169 per month plan lowers that to 2.99% plus $0.30 and adds a Sponsored spotlight in the public company directory. Do you charge per driver, per truck or per order?

No. There is no per-driver, per-truck, per-user or per-order fee, and no order limit. A company with one truck and a company with twenty pay the same for the software: nothing.

Is there a contract?

No. There is no contract, no minimum term and no setup fee. You create the account yourself, and on the free plan there is nothing to cancel because nothing is billed. The optional $169 lower card rate plan is billed month to month.

Which countries and languages are supported?

Dumpster Controls serves hauling companies in the United States and Canada. The app interface and the Tresha AI assistant are available in English, Spanish and Portuguese. The public pages, such as the blog, the help center and the landfill finder, are in English.

How do I switch from another dumpster software?

Create a free account at dumpstercontrols.io/login, with no sales call and no credit card. Then import your customers from a CSV file using the template provided in the app; past orders can also be imported from a CSV. Container sizes and pricing are set up in Settings. The landfill database, with 1,750 active US and Canadian landfills as counted on 2026-10-23, is already loaded, so disposal sites do not need to be typed in.
