How to open and read the Admin Users page in Dumpster Controls

The "Admin Users" page is the home of your office team. Learn its counters, filters, and the built-in explainer before you start inviting.

    1. 1

      Open the page

In the app sidebar, click "Admin User". The page title reads "Admin Users" with the subtitle "Create office users who manage dispatch, customers, and billing."

    2. 2

Read the explainer when in doubt

Click the question mark button next to "New Admin User" to toggle the "What is an Admin User?" card. It summarizes who office users are, the small-companies tip about marking an Admin User as also being a Driver, and the safety rule: "You cannot delete the admin who created your account. You can only delete users you created." It also shows the three role chips with their descriptions.

    3. 3

      Use the four counters

"Total Users", "Dispatchers", "Supervisors", and "Admin + Driver" are clickable. Clicking one filters the table to that group; clicking "Total Users" clears the filters.

    4. 4

      Search and filter

Use the box "Search by name, email, phone..." plus three dropdowns: role ("All Roles", "Admin", "Supervisor", "Dispatcher"), status ("All Status", "Active", "Inactive"), and driver ("Driver: Any", "Also Driver", "Not a Driver"). A "Clear" link resets everything, and a counter shows how many users match.

    5. 5

      Read a table row

Each row shows the person's avatar (with a green ring when active), name, email, and, when an invite went out, a small "Invite sent {time} ago" line. Then come the "Role" badge, "Phone", "Status" pill, and "Also Driver" badge. Row actions are a "Reset Password" button, an edit pencil, and a three-dot menu with "View" and "Delete".

    6. 6

      Open the detail view

Click any row to open the user's details (breadcrumb "Admin Users / Details"). It shows contact info, status, whether they are "Also a Driver", a "Permissions Summary" describing their role, and an "Activity" card with "Created", "Last Updated", and "Last Login" ("Never" if they have not logged in yet).

    What happens next

    • If the table is empty you will see "No admin users yet" with "Add your first dispatcher or office admin." and a "New Admin User" button.

    Troubleshooting

    My filters return nothing.

You will see "No users found" with "Try adjusting your filters." Click "Clear Filters" to reset.
