Daniel de Aguiar Teixeira is a Brazilian-born technology executive, software entrepreneur and infrastructure specialist with more than 19 years of experience in information technology.
Throughout his career, Daniel has worked across advanced IT infrastructure, systems engineering, networking, cybersecurity, cloud computing, virtualization, software development and large-scale technology operations. His background includes hands-on experience with Linux and Windows environments, VMware, AWS, Microsoft Azure, enterprise networking, firewalls, databases, monitoring systems, automation and highly available infrastructure.
Before founding Dumpster Controls, Daniel led technology projects and multidisciplinary IT teams, combining deep technical knowledge with experience in project management, infrastructure architecture, operations and business leadership. His professional background includes industry certifications and training across technologies from Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, Linux, AWS, Azure, ITIL and information security. After moving to the United States in 2020, his professional experience and accomplishments in information technology also became part of his employment-based U.S. immigration journey, ultimately leading to permanent residency.
Daniel founded Dumpster Controls with the objective of bringing modern software engineering, automation, data and artificial intelligence to an industry that has historically relied on fragmented or outdated management systems.
Unlike software built only from a theoretical understanding of the waste industry, Dumpster Controls is developed alongside real-world roll-off operations. Daniel has personally worked with the operational challenges the platform is designed to solve, including dispatching, container inventory, deliveries and pickups, landfill operations, routing, driver workflows, customer communication, payments, fraud prevention and online booking.
This combination of nearly two decades of technology experience and direct operational knowledge of the dumpster rental industry shapes the product philosophy behind Dumpster Controls: build technology that is powerful enough for complex operations, but practical enough to be used every day by independent haulers and their teams. Today, Daniel leads the technology vision and product development of Dumpster Controls as the company continues building a nationwide operating platform for dumpster rental, roll-off and waste service businesses across the United States.
