Is the software really free?
Yes. The software is 100% free with unlimited orders: no monthly fee, no per-order fee, no setup fee, no contract and no feature paywalls. Companies that collect payments by cash or check pay nothing at all.
So how does Dumpster Controls make money?
Four ways, none of them charging you for the software. First, a share of the card-processing fee, only when a company chooses to collect card payments through the platform. Second, the optional Unlimited plan, which lowers that processing rate and makes the company a Sponsored listing in the public directory, in front of customers searching nearby. Third, equipment partners who advertise trucks, containers and gear in the Fleet Upgrades store inside the app. Fourth, sponsorships on directory and content pages. The Dumpster Network Hub marketplace charges nothing at all: no listing fee, no subscription, no percentage cut. Software features are never paywalled.
What does card processing cost?
On the free plan, 2.99% + $3.99 per transaction. On the optional Unlimited plan ($169/month), 2.99% + $0.30 per transaction. Companies with high card volume typically save money on Unlimited; the free plan is the right choice for everyone else. You choose whether the customer pays the fee, your company absorbs it, or you split it.

Is there per-truck pricing or a fleet limit?
No. There is no per-truck pricing and no fleet-size limit: a 1-truck operator and a 500-truck fleet pay the same $0 for software. Large fleets can request a custom proposal, up to a white-label mobile app with their own brand.
Which plan is right for a brokerage, a franchise or a group of companies?
The Enterprise plan. The Free and Unlimited plans are built for a company that owns and operates its own dumpster rental or junk removal business, and that includes placing overflow work with other haulers through the Dumpster Network Hub, which is part of the product. If your business model is brokerage (reselling hauling work you do not perform), or if you are a franchisor, a franchisee or a group of companies under shared ownership or a shared brand, the Enterprise plan is the right one: it is paid, and the account is set up for your structure, with the commercial terms agreed per group. Do I need a sales call or a demo to start?

What support do I get on the free plan?
The same support as everyone else: an in-app ticket system with threaded conversations and notifications, answered within 24 hours, free plan included. There is no paid support tier. The public Help Center has 300 articles, and the built-in Tresha assistant answers questions by text and voice in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
