What dumpster SMS reminders send, and when

Dumpster SMS reminders in Dumpster Controls are the texts the order sends on its own: a confirmation when the order is created, driver on the way, delivered, picked up, the invoice with its payment link, and daily payment reminders for up to 10 days that stop the moment the invoice is paid. Nobody in the office types them, and they are included free for any fleet size.

Each text carries what the customer needs next: the invoice link on the confirmation, the address and a request to keep the drop-off area clear when the driver is on the way, and View & Pay on the invoice. The customer portal link, delivered by text, answers the when-are-you-coming call before it happens and lets the customer request an earlier pickup or a paid extension, both waiting for your approval.

Your team gets texts too. Admins receive an email and a text for every new online order with the order number and the total, and a driver gets a Task Assigned push and a text when you drop a task on their lane in Dispatch.

Automated payment reminders for dumpster invoices: ten days, then silence

Send Payment Link delivers a secure Stripe checkout link for the invoice by email and text, with the Auto-Reminders (10 days) toggle on. If the invoice stays unpaid, the customer receives daily reminders through the selected channels for 10 consecutive days with increasing urgency, each one carrying the invoice link, starting the next morning. Extra charges sent as Send Invoice & Payment Link enroll in the same cycle on their own.

Reminders stop automatically as soon as the invoice is paid. For a specific invoice you can turn the toggle off before sending, and the helper text confirms that no automatic follow-up reminders will be sent. Customers who opted out of transactional notifications are never sent automatic reminders.

Dumpster rental text notifications: confirmed, on the way, delivered, picked up

When a customer books and pays online, they receive their own confirmation email and text at the same moment your admins do. From then on the order does the talking: the driver taps On My Way in the driver app and the customer gets the on-the-way text with the address and the request to clear the drop-off area; completing the delivery sends the delivered text; completing the pickup sends the picked-up text with a thank-you.

Every text ends with your company phone number and Auto msg, do not reply. Order texts are one-way: the customer calls you or opens the portal link. Your team chat and the chat with visitors on your booking page live on the Messages page, not in a per-order inbox.

Who gets texted, and who does not

Some customers, especially contractors with many simultaneous orders, do not want a text for every status change. The customer drawer holds a Receive transactional notifications switch: when off, that customer stops receiving automatic order status updates (on the way, delivered, picked up) and recurring payment reminders, while invoices, payment links and receipts are still sent. New customers start with the switch on.

Texts are included free for any fleet size: no message pack to buy and no per-message fee, however many orders you run.
