Yes: in Dumpster Controls the booking page and the billing are the same record. A customer who books online has already paid, so the invoice is created paid; an order the office creates goes out with a payment link by email and text and automatic reminders for up to 10 days; extra charges bill the card saved at booking. Every invoice can export one way to QuickBooks Online, and the software is free for any fleet size.

Most haulers who ask this run a booking form in one tool and invoices in another, and retype the customer, size and dates between them. Here there is nothing to retype: the booking is the invoice's first line.

How booking and billing automation works in Dumpster Controls

  1. An online booking is born paid. At checkout the platform creates a Stripe payment for the exact total, screens it with Stripe Radar, then creates the order, a paid invoice numbered ORD- and the payment record with the full fee breakdown. The card is saved for later charges.
  2. An office order leaves with a payment link. Create New Order with Payment Link as the method opens an Invoice Preview before anything is sent: recipients, a text to the customer's phone, and who pays the card fee, the customer, your company or a 50/50 split. Cash and Card by Phone are the other two methods.
  3. Reminders run by themselves. With Auto-Reminders on, an unpaid invoice gets a daily email and text for up to 10 days with increasing urgency, each with the Pay Now link, stopping the moment it is paid.
  4. Extras go to the saved card. Charge Extra Fee offers charge types from Overweight Fee to Toll Fee. The overweight calculator reads the net weight from the landfill receipt; attach up to 3 evidence photos, then charge the card, send an invoice with a link, or record an internal cost.
  5. Extensions are billed before the date moves. When a customer asks for extra days from their tracking link, the request shows the days, the daily rate and the amount. With automatic charging enabled, Approve charges the saved card and the pickup date only moves if the charge succeeds.
  6. The books follow. Your Money lists every payment with gross, Stripe price, platform part and net. With QuickBooks Online connected, customers, invoices with a DC- document number, payments and refunds as credit memos are exported.
