How we make money: only when you opt in, and the numbers are public. The software is free with unlimited orders and no per-order software fee. If you choose to collect a customer’s card payment through Dumpster Controls, the processing fee is 2.99% + $3.99 per card transaction on the free plan, or 2.99% + $0.30 (the standard Stripe rate) on the optional $169/month Unlimited plan. Take payment by cash, check, Zelle or any other way and you pay nothing at all. Beyond that, our revenue comes from the optional Unlimited plan and from equipment partners and sponsors advertising in the app and on our public directory; our marketplace, the Dumpster Net Hub, charges zero marketplace fees. Run your own business your way and you never pay to use the software. It’s the only model that lets a 1-truck owner-operator run on the same software as a 50-truck fleet.

The problem with most software for junk removal

Most junk removal software was either built for roll-off rental and given a "junk" toggle, or built for generic field service (HVAC, plumbing, lawn care) and given a hauling vertical. Either way, you pay a monthly fee for a tool that does not speak your language.

Junk removal dispatch app: junk crews and dumpster trucks on one board

Unassigned junk jobs add a Junk tab to the pool. Drag a job onto a crew's lane, or press Assign and pick the crew, and it is scheduled. The card shows a blue JUNK REMOVAL badge, a J- number and a load fraction chip such as 1/2 Load, and the crew gets a Junk Job Assigned push notification with the address. The job's status follows its own workflow, scheduled, on site, loading, to landfill, completed, and shows on the board as Pending, In Progress or Completed. Online booking for the dumpster side, on the same board

Paste two lines of HTML on any website (WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, custom) and customers book a dumpster with live prices and pay by card through Stripe. The order lands on the same Dispatch board as your junk jobs, with the customer record, address, size and payment attached. Junk removal crew app: included free, on iOS and Android

The crew gets the Junk Job Assigned push with the address the moment the job is assigned, sees the junk stops in route order next to the dumpster stops, and the driver map has a Junk chip with a live count. The same app runs the dumpster stops, so a company that does both hands the crew one app. On a tablet mounted in the cab it becomes Truck Tablet Mode. See the driver app.

Junk removal pricing by the load: the table the job form reads

The Junk Removal Pricing page has one card per load fraction, 1/4 Load, 2/4 Load, 3/4 Load and Full Load, each with a Base Price, the labor minutes included and a note, and a Default toggle for the size you sell most. On New Junk Job, the Quick chips (Curbside Pickup, Garage Cleanout, Construction Debris) and the Load Size chips fill the price from that table, and the Job Summary shows the total before you press Create Junk Job. Allow manual override in Global Settings lets the office type a different price on a job. There is no separate quote with an accept link for junk jobs: the price goes on the invoice. The job closes from the job drawer with three photos, Before Service, Service Complete and Trash in Dumpster, and a slide to complete.

Stripe invoicing and receivables

When the job is created with Payment Link, the invoice goes out by email and SMS with a link the customer pays from their phone, and automatic reminders can chase it daily for up to 10 days. Junk jobs have their own Send Payment Link and Mark as Paid actions, so cash and check jobs close in one click, and the office can take a card by phone when creating the job. AI route suggestions, junk stops included

On the Dispatch board, AI Routes reorders one driver's remaining stops for the shortest day; junk stops draw with a J marker on the route map and are ordered with the dumpster stops.
