How to set your company country to Canada

The country setting is what switches your company to the Canadian payment model (CAD, domestic Stripe account, postal codes). New Canadian companies should set it before connecting Stripe.

Before you start

• You are the company owner or an admin.
• Your company has not yet connected a Stripe account (if it has and you believe the country is wrong, contact support instead of changing it).

1. Open your company settings

   In the web app, open Settings from the sidebar and go to the "Company" tab. You will see your company profile fields: name, address, phone, and country.

2. Select Canada as the country

   In the "Country" selector, choose "Canada" and save. From this moment the platform treats your company as Canadian: Stripe onboarding will create a Canadian account, public booking accepts postal codes, and payments run in CAD.

3. Fill your Canadian address

   Use your real province code (ON, QC, BC, AB, MB, SK, NS, NB, NL, PE, YT, NT, NU) and postal code. Distance sorting for landfills and the booking coverage check depend on it.

What happens next

Troubleshooting

I already connected Stripe as a US company by mistake.

If the Stripe account was never activated, the platform detects it and creates a fresh Canadian account when you retry onboarding. If it already has activity, open a support ticket and the team migrates it safely.
