How to control transactional notifications per customer in Dumpster Controls

Some customers, especially contractors with many simultaneous orders, do not want a text for every status change. This toggle silences the automatic updates for one customer without touching anyone else.

    1. 1

      Find the toggle

Open the customer drawer and stay on "Overview". The "Transactional notifications" section holds the switch labeled "Receive transactional notifications".

    2. 2

      Understand what it controls

The description spells it out: "When off, this customer won't receive automatic order status updates (on the way, delivered, picked up) or recurring payment reminders. Invoices, payment links and receipts are still sent."

    3. 3

      Flip it

The change saves instantly. A toast confirms "Transactional notifications enabled for this customer." or "Transactional notifications turned off for this customer."

    What happens next

    • New customers start with the toggle on.
    • Billing messages are never affected: invoices, payment links, and receipts still go out.

    Troubleshooting

The switch snapped back after I flipped it.

The save failed and the toggle reverted; an error toast shows the reason. Try again once your connection is stable.
