How to open a customer profile in Dumpster Controls

Clicking a row opens the customer drawer: a full profile with quick actions and six tabs covering everything the customer has done with you.

    1. 1

      Open the drawer

Click anywhere on a customer row (except the arrow, checkbox, or orders pill). The drawer slides in with the customer's name, company, type badge, and "Active" or "Inactive" status.

    2. 2

      Use the quick actions

"Send Invoice" opens the invoice sender; a red counter on the button shows how many open invoices the customer has. "Call" appears when a phone number is on file and dials it directly.

    3. 3

      Read the "Overview" tab

Four stats lead: "Lifetime Value", "Total Orders", "Member Since", and "Type". Below them sit the "Contact" section (email, phone, address), the "Transactional notifications" toggle, and "Notes" ("No notes yet." when empty).

    4. 4

      Explore the other tabs

"Details" shows and edits every field. "Orders" lists the full order history. "Invoices" lists their invoices. "Estimates" lists their estimates. "Activity" shows a timeline of order events ("No activity yet" when empty).

    What happens next

    • The "Activity" tab pulls timeline events from all of the customer's orders, newest first, so you can reconstruct what happened without opening each order.

    Troubleshooting

    There is no "Call" button.

The profile has no phone number. Add one in "Details" with "Edit".
