How to search, filter, and sort customers in Dumpster Controls

The toolbar above the table narrows hundreds of profiles down to the one you need in seconds.

    1. 1

      Search

Type in the box with the placeholder "Search customers...". It matches the customer's name, company name, and email as you type.

    2. 2

      Filter by status

The status dropdown offers "All Status", "Active", and "Inactive". Inactive profiles keep their full history but drop out of the default workflows.

    3. 3

      Filter by type

The type dropdown offers "All Types", "Residential", "Contractor", and "Broker", each with its icon.

    4. 4

      Sort

Click the "Name", "Lifetime Value", or "Orders" column headers to sort; click again to flip the direction. The count next to the filters shows how many customers match.

    5. 5

      Select rows

Checkboxes on each row (and a select-all in the header) let you mark customers while you work through a list.

    What happens next

    • Changing the search, a filter, or the sort resets the table to page 1.

    Troubleshooting

A customer I know exists is not showing.

Check the status filter: they may be "Inactive". Also try searching by email or company name instead of the person's name.
