How to change the dispatch day in Dumpster Controls

Plan tomorrow, review yesterday, or jump straight to a busy date. The whole board follows the selected day.

1. Step one day at a time

   Use the left and right arrows in the top bar's date navigator. Click the date itself to jump back to today.

2. Jump with "Upcoming:" chips

   The summary strip shows chips for future dates that already have assigned tasks, with a count on each. Click a chip to open that day.

3. Pick from a calendar

   Click the "Assigned for" header at the top of any driver lane to open a calendar and select any date.

What happens next

• Lanes show that day's stops. Unfinished tasks from earlier dates carry into the board as "LATE" so nothing is forgotten.
• Assigning a task from the pool while viewing a future date schedules it for that date.

Troubleshooting

I assigned a task to the wrong day.

Unassign it back to the pool, switch to the correct day, and assign it again.
