How to dispatch junk removal jobs in Dumpster Controls

Junk removal jobs share the Dispatch board with dumpster tasks, so one screen runs your whole day.

    Before you start

    • Junk removal jobs created in the Junk Removal module.
    1. 1

      Find them on the board

Junk jobs show a blue "JUNK REMOVAL" badge, a "J-" prefixed job number, and a load fraction chip such as "1/2 Load" instead of a dumpster size. Unassigned jobs add a "Junk" tab to the pool.

    2. 2

      Assign like any task

Drag the job into a driver's lane, or use the "Assign" button and the "Assign to…" sheet. The driver gets a "Junk Job Assigned" push notification with the address.

    3. 3

      Reorder within the route

Junk jobs slot into the driver's sequence exactly like dumpster stops and count toward the day estimate.

    What happens next

    • The job's status follows its junk workflow (scheduled, on site, loading, to landfill, completed) and displays on the board as "Pending", "In Progress", or "COMPLETED".
    • On the route map, junk stops draw with a "J" marker.

    Troubleshooting

There is no "Junk" tab in the pool.

The tab only appears while unassigned junk jobs exist.
