How to reorder a driver's stops in Dumpster Controls

Stop order is the route. Change the sequence any time before a stop starts, and the numbers, connectors, and map update to match.

    1. 1

      Desktop: drag within the lane

Drag a card up or down inside the same driver lane and drop it in the new position.

    2. 2

      Desktop alternative: hover arrows

Hover a card to reveal small up and down chevrons on its right edge. Click them to move the stop one position at a time.

    3. 3

      Mobile: use the chevrons

In a driver's task list on the phone, each card has up and down chevron buttons on its right side. Drag-and-drop is disabled on mobile.

    4. 4

      Let it save

The "Saving..." chip shows while the new order is written. Cards are protected from further moves until it finishes.

    What happens next

    • Sequence numbers renumber instantly, and the leg connectors between cards recalculate the loaded versus empty truck states.
    • If the driver reorders their own route from their app, you will see a toast like "Reordered by {driver}" and the lane updates live.

    Troubleshooting

    A card refuses to move.

Stops that are "IN ROUTE", "COMPLETED", or "FULL DUMPSTER" are pinned and skipped by reordering.
