How to use Dispatch on your phone in Dumpster Controls

On mobile, Dispatch becomes an overview-first screen built for one-thumb assigning while you are away from the desk.

    1. 1

      Read the overview

The mobile home shows three counters: "No driver", "Assigned", and "Late" (red when anything is late). Below them sit the "Pool · no driver" entry ("Tasks waiting to be assigned") and the "Drivers" list, each driver with their stop count, status chip, and completed-of-total progress.

    2. 2

      Drill into a list

Tap "Pool · no driver" or a driver to open their task list. A "Back" button returns to the overview, and the search box ("Search order, customer, address…") filters the list.

    3. 3

      Assign with one tap

Tap "Assign" on any card to open the "Assign to…" sheet, then tap a driver. Use "Unassign (back to pool)" to send a task back.

    4. 4

      Reorder with chevrons

Use the up and down chevron buttons on each card to change the stop order. Drag-and-drop is desktop-only.

    5. 5

      Call the customer

Tap "Call" on a card to dial the customer directly.

    What happens next

    • Every action behaves exactly like desktop: same statuses, same driver notifications, same live updates.
    • If tasks are late, the overview shows a warning: "{count} task(s) are late: assign or reschedule them."

    Troubleshooting

I cannot drag cards on my phone.

That is by design. Use the "Assign" button to move tasks between drivers and the chevrons to reorder.
