How to complete a pickup in the Dumpster Controls Driver App

Pickups run like deliveries, with one twist: completing a pickup of a full dumpster creates the landfill run and opens it for you.

1. Start and arrive

   Open the pickup, tap "On My Way", drive, then tap "I've Arrived". The helper reads: "Upload the pickup photo to complete this task."

2. Photograph the can

   Fill the required "After Pickup" photo slot (with "Before Pickup" and "Pickup Issue" available when needed).

3. Slide to complete

   Drag "Slide to complete" to the right. Confetti fires and the toast confirms the result.

4. Continue into the landfill run

   When the pickup leaves a full dumpster on your truck, the toast says "Pickup completed. Landfill task prepared." and the new landfill task opens automatically so you can pick a destination and keep moving.

What happens next

• The "Landfill (Next)" preview card under the pickup becomes the real landfill task.
• Dispatch sees the truck as loaded with a full can until the landfill run (or a storage drop) completes.

Troubleshooting

The toast said the landfill task is ready but I do not see it.

The app shows "Pickup completed. Landfill task is ready. Please refresh if you do not see it." Pull the task list down to refresh.
