The big clock on the tablet is your work shift, not the route timer. It is what the office uses for hours, and what starts and stops location tracking.
Tap Play on the large clock. If your company requires a check in, the tablet asks for it first. Location tracking, where the company uses it, starts with the shift.
The shift clock keeps counting while you drive and while you are on site. The route bar shows two separate timers for the trip you are on: driving time and on-site time.
Pause holds both the shift clock and the route timer. Nothing is lost and nothing keeps counting against you while you eat.
Tap Stop. If your company uses check out, the End day sheet appears. When you get back to the yard the app can offer to end the day for you.
Some companies require a check in before the shift. Complete it and Play becomes available. If a tracking notice is pending, accept it once and it will not ask again.
The app offers to end the day when you return to the yard, and the office can correct hours. Tell your dispatcher so the day is recorded correctly.
