Creating a driver also invites them: they get a link to set their password and download the driver app.
Go to the "Drivers" page ("Manage your drivers, documents, and license expirations"). An empty list shows "No drivers yet" with "Add your first driver to get started." Click "New Driver".
The modal steps through "Basic Info", "License", and "Documents". Enter "First Name", "Last Name", "Email", and "Phone". The email field notes: "An invite email will be sent so the driver can set their password and access the system."
On the "License" step, fill "License Number" and "Expiration Date". The hint reads "Ensure the license is valid and up to date. You will receive alerts when it is about to expire."
Documents ("Driver Photo", "License Front", "License Back", and more) can wait: "Save the driver first, then you can upload documents from the edit screen." Click "Create Driver".
With a phone on file the confirmation reads "Sent by email and text message to {email}."; without one, "No phone on file, the invite goes by email only." Use "Resend invite" later if needed ("{name} will get a new link to set their password and download the app.").
The "Get the app" option shows a QR code with the caption "Have your driver scan to download", pointing the driver to the mobile app where all their work happens.
Open the driver, check the email address, and click "Resend invite". Drivers without an email address cannot receive an invite ("Driver has no email address.").
