How to mark an order as delivered in Dumpster Controls

When a driver forgets to confirm in the app, close the loop from the office: confirm the delivery, link the exact unit, and attach photos.

  1. Open the confirmation form

In the Deliveries tab, open the order drawer and find the "Mark as Delivered" box ("Manually confirm delivery if driver forgot"). Click "Confirm Delivery Completed".

  2. Pick the dumpster unit (optional)

The "Dumpster Number" field is marked "Optional". Choose a unit from the "Select a dumpster unit" dropdown; the hint explains "Only available units of this size are shown." You can also press the scan button ("Scan QR code") to open the "Scan dumpster QR code" camera dialog and point at the sticker on the can.

  3. No registered units? Type a label

If the size has no units in inventory, the form shows a free text field instead (placeholder "e.g. D-1042") so you can still record which can went out.

  4. Attach photos

The uploader titled "📸 Upload delivery photos before confirming" takes "Before Delivery" and "Delivered" shots; the helper notes "Photos are optional but recommended".

  5. Confirm

Click "Confirm Delivered". A short countdown toast with an Undo button runs before anything is written, so a mis-tap can be canceled. Then a toast confirms "Marked as Delivered" and the order moves to Waiting Pickup.

Troubleshooting

I get "Dumpster no longer available".

"This unit was just assigned elsewhere. Please choose another." The dropdown refreshes automatically; pick a different unit.

The scanner says "Unit not eligible".

The scanned QR belongs to a unit that is not available for this order (wrong size or already in use).

I get "Not allowed".

"You do not have permission to complete this delivery." Ask an admin to confirm it.
