How to mark an order as picked up in Dumpster Controls

The Pickups tab tracks cans sitting at customer sites. Confirming the pickup sends the order to the landfill stage.

    1. 1

      Find the order

Open the "Pickups" tab ("Orders awaiting dumpster collection from customer sites"). The table adds a "Dates" column showing both dates (the delivery date with a check mark, the pickup date with Today/Tomorrow tags) and a "Delivery Photo" column with the thumbnail taken at drop-off.

    2. 2

      Open the confirmation form

In the drawer, the "Mark as Picked Up" box ("Manually confirm pickup if driver forgot") has a "Confirm Pickup Completed" button.

    3. 3

      Verify the unit (optional)

The "Dumpster Number" selector mirrors the delivery form: the unit already bound to this order is listed first, and you can scan the QR sticker to double-check you are collecting the right can.

    4. 4

      Attach photos and confirm

Upload "Before Pickup" and "After Pickup" photos if you have them, then click "Confirm Picked Up". A toast confirms "Marked as Picked Up" and the order moves to Waiting Landfill.

    What happens next

    • The order appears in the "Landfill Runs" section of the Landfill tab until the disposal is recorded.
    • The pickup drawer also hosts the "Suggested Landfill" picker and the scheduled "Pickup Date" editor, so you can prepare the landfill leg in the same visit.

    Troubleshooting

The scanner rejects the can with "Wrong unit".

The pickup must collect the same unit that was delivered; the message shows the expected serial. Scan the right can or fix the unit on the order first.
