How to open and read the Junk Removal workspace in Dumpster Controls

Junk jobs have a daily list inside Operations and a dedicated page with KPIs and filters. Learn both entry points and what the jobs table shows.

    1. 1

      Start from Operations

On the Operations page, click the "Junk Removal" KPI card. The tab is titled "Junk Removal" ("Active junk removal jobs and crew assignments") with two buttons: "Load Pricing" and "New Job". This is the everyday working list.

    2. 2

      Know the dedicated page

The full Junk Removal page (the "Back to Junk Removal" destination from the pricing and new-job screens) adds a header with "Load Pricing" and "New Junk Job" buttons plus three KPI cards: "Scheduled", "To Landfill", and "Completed Today".

    3. 3

      Filter the list

Use the search box ("Search jobs, customers, addresses…") to match job number, customer, address, or driver. The status filter offers "All Statuses" plus "Scheduled", "On Site", "Loading", "To Landfill", "Completed", and "Canceled". The load filter offers "All Sizes" plus "1/4 Load", "2/4 Load", "3/4 Load", and "Full Load". A "Clear" button resets everything.

    4. 4

      Read the table

Columns are "Job #", "Address", "Customer", "Amount", "Date", "Load", "Status", and "Driver / Actions". Jobs without a driver show an "Assign Driver" button; assigned jobs show the driver's name. Row actions include "View Details", "Sell on Hub", and "Cancel Job". On mobile the table becomes cards with the same information.

    5. 5

      Open a job

Click any row (or card) to open the job details drawer with assignment, photos, payment, receipt, notes, and timeline.

    What happens next

    • The list refreshes live: junk job changes made by teammates or by online bookings appear without reloading.
    • Canceled jobs are hidden from the main list; find them and deleted jobs through Order History.

    Troubleshooting

    The list is empty.

If you have never created a job, the empty state reads "No junk jobs yet. Create your first one!". If jobs exist but the list is empty, it reads "No jobs match filters.", so clear the search and filters.
